Mortgage Sales Manager

Position includes personal production, building and coaching a mortgage sales team. Responsible for recruiting and training, of new mortgage loan officers. Adherence to compliance standards and other duties as assigned.

Produces and maintains relationships with builders, realtors, and financial planners.

Builds relationships and cross sell opportunity with Bank's personnel and branches.

Looks for opportunities for growth.

Trains and develops loan officers on a one-on-one basis of activities related to the position.

Coaches individual loan officers in the skills of conducting sales meetings and calling procedures with realtors.

Holds timely sales/training meetings for loan officers to provide ongoing reinforcement and training.

Prepares and updates timely reporting of production, goals achieved, commissions and other related activities.

Monitors and reports progress of loan officers on activities related to shared goals with other business partners.

Provides timely communication with Regional Management staff on activities of individual lending area.

Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Windows based computer skills.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office systems.

Event coordination, logistics for seminars and presentations.

Coordination and preparation of marketing and account review materials.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Directly supervises two to eight employees in the Mortgage Lending Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

NMLS registration required.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.

Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

High School Diploma/GED, required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 3 years' experience with a proven track record in a sales leadership role required.

Specialized Training in sales management preferred.

Supervisory experience required.
