2 nd SHIFT POLISHER
Automation Personnel Services is seeking an experienced Polisher for a manufacturer in Chattanooga, TN. Candidates will smooth, refine, and enhance surfaces using hand tools or automated equipment. Position is full-time temporary to hire.
Pay rate
$16.50 per hour
Shifts and Schedule
2nd shift Monday-Friday 12:00pm(noon)-8:30pm
Polisher D uties and Responsibilities
- Clean, sand, or grind materials prior to final polishing.
- Select and operate power tools, buffing wheels, and polishing machines with proper pressure.
- Inspect items for scratches, cracks, or flaws to ensure they meet exact specifications.
- Maintain equipment, change sanding wheels, and report malfunctions to supervisors.
- Maintain clean work spaces and safely handle hazardous polishing compounds.
Polisher Requirements and Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Work in a hot environment
- Lift 50lbs (in office assessment will be conducted)
- Adhere to all PPE and safety requirements
