Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit, delivering safe and effective nursing interventions
• Utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation and the Omnicell system for medication management
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, including cardiac telemetry, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float to other units or campuses as needed based on census and staffing requirements — floating is required for this assignment
• Provide weekend coverage on a rotating basis (approximately every other weekend, subject to unit needs)
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS , ACLS , and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with EPIC EMR
• Must live more than 100 miles from all system facilities to be eligible at full consideration; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered under modified terms; candidates under 90 miles are not eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Telemetry, ER Holding, or Cardiac Telemetry settings
• First-time travelers with strong, relevant unit experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
