ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Tukwila, WA. This full-time opportunity is supporting an LRC1 (Learning Resource Center) program at the elementary level, providing specialized instruction and support to students while collaborating with the educational team.

Work Schedule:

• 37.5 hours/week

• Start Date: ASAP

• Contract through June 17, 2027

Qualifications:

• Valid Washington State Special Education Teaching Certificate required

• Experience in a resource, inclusion, LRC, or mild/moderate special education setting preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

• Ability to provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and Washington State standards

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide targeted academic and behavioral support

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, related service providers, and administrators

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

• Cascade View Elementary School

• Elementary setting

• Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
