Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: Active RN License Certifications: ACLS or ALS-OB, NRP, EFM, BLS Must-Have: Fetal Monitoring and Assessment Emergency Response Postpartum Care Time Management Description: Candidates must be able to start 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Weekly orientation occurs on Mondays. 48 hours per week guarantees available. Blocked scheduling is available. The unit has 9 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1. Supervision is provided by the designated supervisor. The patient population consists of adults. Equipment used includes EHR systems. Common diagnoses include Normal Spontaneous Labor, Preterm Labor, Gestational Hypertension, Preeclampsia, Placenta Previa, Placental Abruption, Fetal Distress, Umbilical Cord Prolapse, and Postpartum Hemorrhage. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, stamina, strong communication skills, and empathy.
