Technician

Responsibilities Develop and validate test articles, rigs, fixtures, load introductions and instrumentation strategies to achieve test objectives. Operate test equipment software and hardware to implement test plans and detailed procedures. Coordinate test requirements, determine test methods and capabilities. Design test setups and methods working with design engineering and fabrication. Follow detailed test procedures, safety plans, and test checklists; ensure regulatory and internal compliance. Perform data reduction, prepare technical reports, and test summaries. Support testing of multiple test programs and assist other entry and mid-level personnel with test set up, execution, and documentation. Qualifications Basic Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a lab or testing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic PC skills with Windows OS. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in planning and executing structural static, fatigue and proof tests on metallic and composite airframe components. Familiarity with structural test equipment (servo-hydraulic test machines, load cells, fixtures) and safety procedures. Experience with CATIA, SolidWorks, or a similar CAD program. Proficient in data reduction, analysis, and test reporting tools (Microsoft 365, Python, SQL, etc.). Detail oriented and able to efficiently manage shifts in work assignments and priority changes in a fast paced and flexible work environment. Experience with MTS software application programs (TWE, MPT, TW4, MTS 793). Education Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor's degree, or 2 years' related work experience, etc.). #J-18808-Ljbffr
