Water/Mitigation Technician
Location: North Texas (McKinney / Celina / Prosper area)
About the RoleOur Client is looking for a Water/Mitigation Technician to join a growing North Texas restoration team. You'll be on the front lines of water, fire, and mold mitigation projects — responding to losses, setting up equipment, and helping properties get on the path to recovery. This is a hands-on field role, working directly at customer properties and job sites.
What You'll Do- Respond to water, fire, and mold mitigation calls, including on-call/emergency response as scheduled
- Perform moisture detection, water extraction, and structural drying
- Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
- Perform demolition of affected materials as needed
- Document job site conditions, moisture readings, and progress for accurate reporting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
- Communicate professionally and clearly with customers throughout the mitigation process
- Mitigation experience preferred
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, etc.) are valuable and a strong plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including rotating on-call/emergency shifts
- Physically able to perform demolition, equipment setup, and other hands-on field work
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly with customers during stressful situations
- A stable work history and genuine interest in building a long-term career with Our Client
- Up to approximately $26/hour
