We are seeking an experienced, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a locum opportunity providing hospital-based inpatient coverage only. This role involves managing orthopedic trauma cases and same-day add-ons across two nearby hospital campuses.

Practice Highlights:

• Hospital-based role only no clinic responsibilities
• Coverage at two campuses (Davenport & Silvis), located 13 miles apart
• Trauma Level III facility handling all orthopedic trauma cases
• OR access available every day
• Team includes 8 physicians (joint, spine, hand, podiatry mix) and 8 APPs
• Nursing and APP support available in the OR
• Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services on-site
• EMR: Cerner
• No telehealth and no outreach responsibilities

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery Required
• Fellowship trained in Orthopedics Required
• Experienced provider only Required
• Active IA and/or IL license or active IMLC (LOQ required at name clear)
• Must be willing to cover both Davenport & Silvis locations
• Clean malpractice and background history Required
• NPDB Self-Query (pulled within the last 30 days) required at presentation

Schedule & Coverage:

• 710 shifts per month
• 24-hour on-call shifts
• Inpatient coverage only
• Call includes orthopedic trauma and same-day add-ons
• Average daily hospital census: 230250
