Engineering Project Manager Power Generation

** This is a100% onsite position based in Birmingham , AL**

Our Client is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager responsible for leading multidisciplinary engineering execution across large-scale EPC power-generation projects from design through construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering execution across EPC projects
• Coordinate electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, process and I&C disciplines
• Manage engineering schedules, deliverables and staffing
• Coordinate engineering with procurement and construction
• Review drawings, specifications and technical packages
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risk and engineering changes
• Coordinate vendors and subcontractors
• Support field engineering, construction and commissioning
• Participate in client meetings and technical presentations
• Mentor engineering team members

Required

• BS in Engineering
• 10+ years engineering/EPC experience
• Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
• EPC, power, utility or heavy-industrial background
• Strong project execution and technical leadership experience

Preferred

• Simple-cycle / combined-cycle power generation
• Gas turbine / balance-of-plant experience
• PE license
• Construction and commissioning exposure

Rate: $70/hr-$85/hr (Depends on experience level). This is a long-term contract position with contrctors expected to work 40 hours a week.
