As an LCSW working within a school framework, you will have and leverage access to educational technology platforms that facilitate communication and therapy sessions. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake and psychosocial assessments of students to understand their mental health needs and develop individualized care plans. Create and present comprehensive treatment plans to the Collaborative Drug and Rehabilitation Programs (CDRP) and treatment team for discussions, recommendations, and collaborative modifications. Engage in clinical case conferences with multidisciplinary teams to discuss ongoing cases and adapt strategies to enhance patient outcomes. Deliver educational lectures focused on chemical dependency, equipping students with essential knowledge to support informed decisions about their health. Provide both individual and group counseling services, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, peer relationships, and family dynamics. Facilitate therapy sessions for adolescents, significant others, families, and multi-family groups as necessary, promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment for healing. Offer comprehensive case management services, including resource identification and referral coordination to ensure families are connected with further treatment options. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on adolescent students navigating the complexities of mental health challenges, including but not limited to emotional distress, behavioral issues, and chemical dependency. By working closely with students, families, and educational staff, you will contribute to fostering a supportive climate that encourages academic success while promoting mental wellness. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon. At least two (2) years of post-graduate experience in supervised addiction therapy within the last five (5) years is necessary. Preferred Experience Experience working in a school setting or with adolescents is highly desirable. Knowledge of current evidence-based practices in mental health and addiction treatment. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD $115,000 and $130,000 annually.
