Polhemus is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, tracking inventory movements, and helping keep materials and products moving smoothly through the facility. In addition to the core role, this position will also support the manufacturing team in various capacities such as electronics assembly.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

Work Monday-Friday hours between 7:30am and 4pm! (flex time available) You will play a key role in delivering magnetic tracking solutions to some of the biggest names in tech, healthcare, aerospace, and more.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and staging products accurately
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment to support timely fulfillment
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits as needed
• Work with production and warehouse team members to improve workflow and accuracy
• Support quality and production objectives
• Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
• Prepare finished products for shipment

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with Shipping & Receiving, order fulfillment
• Care and attention to details such as packing process and procedures
• Computer skills to work with shipping carrier web services, email, & MRP system
• Reliable, organized, and able to work well as part of a team
• Desire and willingness to learn and take on new tasks·      
• We will train you for our work-tasks!

 

Above and Beyond Qualifications that will distinguish you:

• Experience with fine wire soldering
• Hands-on work or hobby experience
