Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a day-shift assignment requiring ARRT(R)/NMTCB certification and Epic experience. Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist ARRT(R) and NMTCB certification required, license required if applicable BLS certification required CNMT certification preferred Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Skilled in drawing venous blood and starting/maintaining IVs Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and safe storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials Epic charting experience required State-issued ID required for consideration Responsibilities Nuclear Medicine department within a Radiology/Cardiology setting Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Adult patient population Work settings include clinic, nuclear cardiology, and portable/bedside procedures Performs SPECT imaging including bone, brain, liver, renal, and thyroid studies Performs bone scans (3 phase, limited, whole body) Performs cardiac studies including myocardial perfusion, adenosine and Persantine infusion, and exercise/rest stress testing Performs renal studies including flow/function, renal/perfusion, and captopril renal scans Performs lung scans including DTPA aerosol, perfusion, and ventilation/perfusion studies Performs procedures such as gastric emptying, HIDA scan, and MUGA scan Performs liver/spleen imaging including liver flow, liver imaging, and hemangioma scans Uses GE and Siemens equipment Epic EMR experience required Performs a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging and diagnostic procedures across cardiac, renal, pulmonary, hepatic, and skeletal systems Completes required training modules prior to start, with any remaining modules finished during orientation and annually thereafter Military-equivalent certifications accepted; AHA certification preferred over ARC Accepts local candidates within 90 miles at a lower rate Limited RTO requests permitted, with additional restrictions during the November-January holiday season Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-749653 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr Newsandtribune
