Financial Analyst

REPORTS TO: SVP, FinanceLOCATION: Remote (Seattle preferred)WHAT YOULL DOFinancial Reporting & Strategic AnalysisPrepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow supportAssist with variance analysis versus budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and trends to help the business pivotSupport management reporting and ad hoc financial analysis for leadershipPartner with the Controller to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting across the organizationBudgeting, Forecasting & PlanningOwn the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes to ensure the business is never flying blindTrack departmental spend and headcount versus plan to maintain disciplined growthBuild and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and high-stakes decision-makingInventory, COGS & Margin SupportSupport inventory reporting, reconciliation, and analysis to optimize cash flowAssist in tracking COGS, gross margin, and manufacturing variancesPartner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy across the stackClose Support & Process Build-OutSupport the monthly close process, including reconciliations, accrual support, and balance sheet reviewsHelp maintain and improve financial models, dashboards, and ERP/reporting enhancementsImprove documentation, templates, and processes to support a high-growth finance organizationWHAT YOU BRINGRequired:25 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, FP&A, or related rolesBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldStrong Excel / Google Sheets skills with comfort managing large data sets and complex financial modelsHigh attention to detail, proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentNice to have:Prior experience with accounting systems and financial reporting in a CPG or retail environmentStrong communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionallyWHO YOU AREThe ideal candidate is:A self-starter who owns outcomes, not just tasksCollaborative and low-ego the team's success is your successClear communicator written and verbalComfortable in a fast-moving, lean environmentGenuinely excited about wellness, skincare, or consumer brandsWHAT WE OFFERMedical, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with company contributionGenerous PTO and flexible schedulingEmployee productsA tight-knit, mission-driven team that moves fast and takes care of each otherCLEARSTEM is an equal opportunity employer.
