Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or license in South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Strong skills in conducting educational evaluations and assessments
• Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with educators, administrators, and families
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and adhere to deadlines

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments for students
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop effective intervention strategies
• Contribute to individualized education program (IEP) teams by sharing assessment findings and recommendations
• Consult with teachers and parents to support students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with school and state policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
