Your future role at a glance Location: Waco, Texas Facility: Ascension Providence Department/Specialty: Respiratory Care Schedule: Days | Full-Time How you'll make an impact in this role Lead Clinical Strategy: Drive patient recovery by diagnosing needs and designing personalized, high-frequency care plans. Deploy Advanced Technology: Master sophisticated respiratory equipment and advanced modalities to deliver precision life support. Optimize Care Outcomes: Use clinical data to refine medication administration and treatment protocols for the highest standard of practice. Empower Patients & Families: Bridge the gap between hospital and home through expert health education and community resource advocacy. Execute Life-Saving Response: Serve as a critical expert on the emergency resuscitation team, leading interventions during high-pressure codes. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional/temporary license will be accepted until license is issued. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
