Step into a dynamic opportunity as an in-person School Psychologist supporting students from early childhood through middle school during a key period this fall. This contract position covers a maternity leave from August 24th to November 18th, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact across various age groups in a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current School Psychologist certification or eligibility for licensure
- Experience (or strong practicum) working with early childhood, elementary, or middle school populations
- Familiarity with psychological assessments, evaluations, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Ability to organize a caseload and manage time efficiently
- Adaptability and compassion in responding to diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct support and counseling to students as needed
- Consult with educators and families regarding learning, behavior, and mental health concerns
- Support the development and monitoring of intervention plans
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and district guidelines
