Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This position involves providing comprehensive emergency medical services in a busy, high-volume emergency department. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama
• Certifications Required: AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), NIH Certifications, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Secure on site
• Licenses Required: Registered Nurse license for the state of Alabama or a Compact license (No Temp Licenses accepted)
• Education: Associated degree in nursing
• Years of Experience: 2 years of experience; or 18 months of experience working under the highest level of professional license with at least 1 year of experience in the specialty
• Schedule: Night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, certifications listed above, associated degree in nursing, 2 years of clinical experience or 18 months with specialty experience, permanent or Compact RN license in Alabama, or a State of Alabama license with at least 1 year of specialty experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level III Trauma Center and with Meditech electronic medical record system
• Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Candidates should be flexible to work holidays and every other weekend. The position involves clinical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
