Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served
• Ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner
• Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit
• Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect

Requirements of the Clinical Nurse

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
• BLS Certification from AHA required
• ACLS Certification from AHA required
• PALS Certification from AHA required (or ENPC)
• TNCC or ATCN required
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
