Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced MRI Technologist to work on a mobile MRI unit at a Level 1 trauma acute care facility, requiring 5+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification.

Details

• Mobile MRI unit traveling via semi-trailer, M-F, starting daily in Sioux Falls, SD
• Covers hospitals in MN, SD, and IA within 150 miles of Sioux Falls, visiting 1-3 hospitals per day
• Day shifts only, typically starting between 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM, no nights or weekends
• Shift length varies (10-12 hours) depending on daily patient volume
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Sole MRI Technologist on the mobile unit with no floating to other departments or units
• A driver is provided; technologist is not required to drive
• Uses GE Explorer Lift 1.5T, GE Architect 3.0T, and Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI equipment
• SECTRA PACS system and VRAD night service utilized
• EPIC EMR used for charting

Requirements

• ARRT MR Registered certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of MRI experience preferred
• Proficient in Neuro, MSK, and Abdominal imaging
• Ability to work independently
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform MRI studies while traveling daily on a mobile semi-trailer unit
• Gray scrubs required
• Facility is a Level 1 trauma acute care center
• All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Accepts local candidates within an 80-mile radius
• Clinicians with prior employment at this health system must have an end date at least 6 months before their submission date
