Kennel Assistant

Description Provide daily care and attention to dogs and cats in our care. Feed, water, walk, and monitor animals. Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and surrounding areas. Change bedding and maintain a clean, sanitary environment. Assist with basic animal handling and restraint as directed by the veterinary team. Observe animals for changes in behavior or condition and report concerns to appropriate staff. Help with laundry, cleaning, stocking, and other general clinic duties. Treat all animals with patience, kindness, and compassion. Follow clinic safety and sanitation procedures. Qualifications Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required. Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work well with others. Comfortable handling dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments. Able to work in a fast-paced veterinary environment. Must be able to perform physically demanding duties, including standing, walking, bending, cleaning, and lifting. A positive attitude and genuine concern for animal welfare are essential.
