SQL Developer

Job Title 6 month Engagement: Dublin, CA. /travel to client site. Mon-Thur/ Remote Friday The client would pay for: • Travel on Monday morning and Thursday afternoon to Dallas, TX • Hotel M, T, W and breakfast and dinner on those days Work from home on Friday with a 40 hour week expected, except on holidays. (Travel time is not billable) Understands the technical aspect of the application specifically on the GUI - Database transactions. Develops SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL databases, as well as writing and testing code. Development often consists of designing tables, storing procedures, views and functions. Work with project managers, analyst teams and clients, building database-related solutions to meet & validate system requirements. Document code, provide progress reports, and perform code review. Attention to details, listening, problem solving, team player, commitment, has initiative, organized, positive attitude, quick learning ability. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming 2 to 3 years solid experience in development (SDLC) in retail industry/store systems (Labor/Workforce Management applications is a plus) Knows how to understand how GUI and jobs work by using trace (like SQL Server Profiler) and understanding the backend code Expert programming skills in writing basic to complex SQL queries, views, store procedures and functions Has deep knowledge and expertise in Oracle SQL database architecture and MS SQL Server Has advance programming skills in writing command scripts (.cmd) and batch scripts (.vbs) Has advance programming skills in Microsoft Excel visual basic and macro ClifyX
