Job Title

Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation (Contract / Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite | Minimum 2 weekends per 4-week period required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation therapy services targeting approximately 5 to 6 hours of patient treatment per day
• Perform physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for inpatient rehab patients
• Carry out standard inpatient rehab treatments including activities of daily living (ADL) interventions
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including H200/L300 and BURT systems as appropriate
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, nurses, and rehab aides; float to other inpatient rehab units as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license (must be valid for practice in Texas)
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Basic knowledge of inpatient rehabilitation principles and practices
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively as part of a therapy team
• Availability to work a minimum of 2 weekends per 4-week period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous hands-on experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Demonstrated initiative and advanced knowledge of inpatient rehab workflows and treatments
• Outgoing and flexible personality with strong adaptability in a fast-paced environment
