Certified Welding Inspector
Active Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification, previous power plant project experience, hands-on welding inspection experience in an industrial construction environment, ASME code knowledge, experience working under established Project Quality Managers, knowledge of applicable welding codes, standards, and quality requirements, ability to work fully onsite in Platteville, Colorado. Good communication and strong work ethic. Availability and willingness to work the night shift, oil and gas experience, experience supporting large, multi-year EPC projects.
Day-to-day: Perform daily welding inspections in accordance with applicable codes and standards, execute project quality plans and inspections, partner with Project Quality Managers and field teams, document inspection results and report nonconformances, ensure welding and fabrication activities meet project requirements, coordinate with field teams to maintain quality compliance, maintain safety and quality standards on an active construction site, support continuous quality improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Insight Global is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector for a top global construction client. This candidate will support the Fort St. Vrain project in Platteville, Colorado, performing onsite welding inspections and partnering closely with Project Quality Managers to ensure welding and fabrication activities meet all applicable quality, safety, and code requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile industrial construction project! This person can make up to $70/hr + per diem.
