Base Lodge CustodianSunday River is seeking full-time or part-time Base Lodge Custodians with high standards and a great work ethic to join our team. This position must perform all aspects of custodial duties, including bending, stooping, and lifting at least 50 pounds. Custodial work requires self-motivation, working with little supervision, excellent organizational skills, and the characteristics of a team player. The Base Lodge Custodian position also requires availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain public area bathrooms, hallways, public common areas, and ski locker areasEmpty and clean all waste receptacles and transport waste to dumpstersVacuum, sweep, and scrub floors as necessaryMove furniture, dust furniture, and wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills as neededReplace light bulbsComply with our recycling programShovel snow, sweep entries and walkways, and keep entries free of cobwebs and spidersRespond positively and quickly to guest requestsReport maintenance issues, damages, or safety issues immediately to supervisorAssist other departments in the completion of their duties as directed by supervisorQualificationsMust be at least 16 years old.No previous experience is required for this position.Compensation & BenefitsWages range from $18 to $20 per hour depending on experienceTeam Member Perks include:Free Ski Pass and access to other Boyne ResortsResort discounts on dining, retail, lodging, and spaEligibility for affordable team member housing
