Production Test Technician

Job Description Job Summary: Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Performs electrical measurements and tests from test procedures and engineering specifications Sets up and checks out test station/equipment Maintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results (metrics) Removes, replaces and assembles parts and/or assemblies as required Performs necessary touch up and cleaning of deliverable hardware Monitors consumables required to support assemblies Maintains inventory of tooling and equipment on hand and advise on equipment required to meet production schedules including obsolete, repair or calibration status Verifies accuracy of finished assemblies and data to provide quality output Processes assembly using a variety of materials (adhesives, coatings, epoxies, etc) Job Qualifications: Attention to Detail: required while performing measurements and tests, and to ensure that assemblies are completed with, precision, accuracy, thoroughness and orderliness. Analytical Problem-Solving Skills: required to assist with test failure analysis and troubleshoot and advise engineers of root cause failure Collaboration & Teamwork: required to effectively work with engineers and various support personnel Communication Skills (Oral, Listening & Written): required to effectively communicate and document test results Knowledge and Experience: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Salary Range: $44,500.00-$59,300.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
