Job Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist (RT) position is located in Enid, Oklahoma. This role requires candidates to administer respiratory care following medical prescriptions, including managing, evaluating, and stabilizing neonatal patients, often ventilating until transfer. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of work and should be prepared to work varied shifts with every other weekend.

Job Details:

• Shift: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, with varied schedules and every other weekend required.
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); ABG (Arterial Blood Gases) License; RRT credentials; neonatal stabilization experience; ability to work in a neonatal stabilization setting; candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience (though not required, the facility does stabilize neonates and ventilate briefly).
• Additional Information: The RT administers respiratory care by physicians prescription, which includes diagnostic evaluation, management, education, and rehabilitation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. Responsibilities also include application of treatment protocols involving medical gases, ventilatory support, artificial airway care, and cardiopulmonary support.
