Afternoon Server - Part Time

We are looking for friendly and experienced part-time Servers to serve our residents at Royal Park Place in Zeeland, MI. Past experience with serving or waiting tables is required.

Schedule: Varying days/shifts. 3:30pm-6:30pm. Shifts will include alternating weekends

Background check, fingerprinting and drug screening for illegal substances is required.

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide professional, courteous, and attentive table service to residents during meal periods.
• Greet residents warmly and create a positive, welcoming dining experience.
• Assist residents with menu choices by answering questions and providing information about meal offerings.
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining presentation and quality standards.
• Monitor resident satisfaction throughout the meal and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills by identifying resident dining needs and coordinating with kitchen staff to provide appropriate solutions when available.
• Collaborate with culinary and dining team members to accommodate resident preferences and dietary requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and dining room equipment.
• Clear and reset tables according to community standards.
• Assist with beverage service, refills, and other hospitality-related duties.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Support special events, celebrations, and community dining functions as assigned.
• Promote a culture of hospitality, respect, and resident-centered service.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when delivering meals and beverages.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced dining environment.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional service.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands/Environment:

The Dining Room Waiter/Server position requires standing and walking for extended periods throughout a shift. Must be able to carry trays, dishes, beverages, and dining service supplies. Requires frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the dining room and service areas. The work environment may include exposure to hot, cold, wet, or humid conditions commonly associated with food service operations. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
