RN - Ambulatory Surgery (Pre/Post-PACU)

Job Description

Join our team in a busy critical access hospital setting, providing essential pre, intra, and post-operative care to a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. In this role, you will work with various surgical specialties, ensuring quality patient care for those undergoing outpatient procedures or who are being admitted to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Recover C-section patients and provide appropriate care and monitoring.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
• Work autonomously in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple patients effectively.
• Participate in rotational weekend and holiday call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in day surgery required.
• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred for Ambulatory Surgery.

Schedule

This position features a variable schedule with rotating days, weekends, and holiday shifts required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
