Position OverviewTake your corporate practice to the next level with a firm that provides sophisticated transactional work, entrepreneurial freedom, and a clear path to equity partnership. This opportunity is designed for an experienced corporate attorney seeking a long-term platform to expand their practice, advise growing businesses, and develop lasting client relationships. You'll work alongside accomplished attorneys across multiple disciplines while serving as a trusted advisor on complex business transactions and strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, restructurings, and other corporate matters from inception through closing.Advise business owners, executives, and privately held companies on strategic legal and business decisions.Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other complex transactional documents.Develop and maintain client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the corporate practice.Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.Qualifications / Nice to HaveMust HaveJ.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.Significant corporate transactional experience in a law firm environment.Experience leading mergers and acquisitions and complex business transactions.Experience independently managing client relationships and legal matters.Existing book of business or demonstrated business development success.Nice to HaveExperience representing privately held, middle-market, or closely held businesses.Experience mentoring junior attorneys.Experience with private equity, financing transactions, corporate governance, or succession planning matters.BenefitsExpected compensation generally ranging from $275,000 to $400,000+, depending on experience, productivity, and business development.15% origination compensation on collected revenue from originated business.Profit-sharing contributions, historically ranging from $10,000 to $28,000 annually.Two-year draw protection period for lateral Director hires during practice integration.Flexible hybrid work arrangement.Opportunity to collaborate with an experienced team of attorneys across multiple practice areas.Clear and transparent advancement path from Director (Non-Equity Partner) to Shareholder (Equity Partner).Sophisticated transactional work, business development support, and a culture that values both professional growth and work-life balance.
