Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in a critical access hospital located in a mountain town of Western North Carolina. The role involves providing inpatient care on a 17-bed unit that emphasizes teamwork, with a focus on adult patients primarily aged 65 and older. The position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment that includes strong PT/OT/Speech presence and 24-hour provider coverage, along with access to diagnostic and lab services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 36 hours per week, with a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS certification, BLS certification, 2+ years of nursing experience, and experience managing PICC/CVC lines and wound care.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required between Swain and Harris Regional facilities on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience.
• Additional Information: This position involves working on a 17-bed unit within a critical access hospital that does not perform surgeries but provides inpatient, observation, and swing bed services.
