We might be pioneers in the industry, but our story has just begun.About The RoleA store manager oversees a retail store's daily operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service, while also striving to achieve sales targets and maintain profitability. This position often requires working non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to successfully meet customers' needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in continuously increasing sales volume and revenue. This position will require up to 25% travel.In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To:Recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising employees.Scheduling and assigning tasks.Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.Motivating and coaching staff to achieve sales goals.Resolving first step disciplinary issues.Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and welcoming for customers.Managing inventory levels and ordering merchandise.Implementing and maintaining store policies and procedures.Managing cash flow and handling financial transactions.Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Setting sales targets and developing strategies to achieve them.Resolving customer complaints and issues.Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.Monitoring sales trends and identifying areas for improvement.Preparing reports on sales, inventory, and expenses.Managing budgets and controlling costs.Developing marketing and promotional materials.Liaising with suppliers and headquarters.Opening and/or closing the store.Implementing security measures.Implement the Business Ready Store policy (BRS).Oversee the E-Commerce operationEnsure adequate delivery operation.Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities.Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates year-roundTo Be Successful In This Role, You Will Need:Strong project management skillsGreat communication skills, both written and verbalStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong managerial skills developed via managing people and teamsDemonstrated leadership qualities cross-functionally while driving resultsWorking knowledge of modern brand retail and/or E-Comm, e.g. DTC and customer experience.Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth business environmentStrong team skills and an aptitude for cross-functional interactionsWell-developed problem-solving skills and an eye for detailEnergy, enthusiasm, and drive for continuous improvement on projects and team supportStrong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointHighly flexible and adaptable – working in a fast-paced start-up involves daily shifting priorities; able to go with the flow and adjust to changing needs quickly.Education / Experience Requirements:5+ years' experience in retail operations or new store opening management; experience in the food industry preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience managing a team and driving resultsCollege degree and/or equivalent experience requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Point of Sales (POS) system.Background and credit check required.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
