About the Role

TEKsystems is seeking highly skilled and dependable Cabling Technicians to join a dynamic team on a high-profile industrial construction project. This is not your average buildout—we’re talking large-scale, high-density environments where precision, professionalism, and performance are non-negotiable.

️ Key Responsibilities

• Install and route low-voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optics) in large commercial/industrial environments
• Terminate, test, and troubleshoot network systems using tools such as cable testers, and network analyzers
• Lead and mentor a helper while maintaining high productivity with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to work independently and stay on task without constant oversight
• Experience working with and directing a helper
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Must have own basic tools (major tools provided)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
