PE Procurement Assistant Manager Control Unit 3 days ago – First 25 applicants. (Optional note) Summary The PE Procurement Assistant Manager is responsible for sourcing potential suppliers, deciding on new item suppliers, negotiating part prices, and coordinating with parts suppliers. The role includes supplier selection and sub‑parts cost management for Power Electric Motor, Reducer, Inverter, and ICCU components. Essential Functions Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to ensure on‑time results. Review legal documentation (RFQs, LOIs, terms and conditions) and develop documentation according to Mobis policy. Review supplier requirements, release quotations, and perform quotation analysis. Conduct part characteristic and risk analysis; create procurement policies. Research and secure potential suppliers. Perform cost analysis for parts, tooling, and other supplier expenses; negotiate prices. Create detailed price breakdowns for each product, including categories such as material, labor, and burden. Negotiate supply agreements and cost models with key suppliers, ensuring pricing and lead‑time information is updated. Comply with and promote workplace safety. Perform all other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Yes Basic Qualifications Required Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) – Engineering or Supply Chain Management. 7+ years of procurement experience, preferably in E‑powertrain manufacturing/automotive industry. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Intermediate communication skills. Strong analytical and technical skills. Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and proficiency in drawing interpretation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred Education & Experience Fluency in Korean and English. Experience in automotive manufacturing environments. Experience in die‑casting, lamination press, forging, and PCB assembly processes. Knowledge of 2D/3D drawings and design tools. Experience using ERP systems (SAP). Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations None Required Working Conditions Office setting with occasional walking between buildings. Overtime as needed. Frequent domestic and international travel, including possible overnight stays. Ability to work with all development work groups if needed. Travel Requirement Domestic / International travel required.
