Responsibilities As an RN in Surgical Acute you'll gain exposure to general surgical patients including bariatric, ortho, spinal, urology, medical, telemetry, and trauma. Bariatric, ortho, spinal, urology, medical, telemetry, trauma patients Continuous and manual bladder irrigation Suprapubic urinary catheters Nephrostomy drains Wound V.A.C. therapy Orthopedic braces Peritoneal dialysis treatments and administration This is a high-functioning unit that boasts exceptionally high employee engagement and patients’ satisfaction scores.
