Responsibilities Create a warm, caring, and safe environment: build nurturing relationships with students, provide age‑appropriate supervision, and set clear classroom rules and routines. Implement lesson plans: teach Math and Science to middle‑school boys, align curriculum with Massachusetts state standards, and design engaging activities that capture student interest. Monitor and communicate student progress: give feedback to students and families, maintain accurate records, and keep families informed of academic, social, and behavioral development. Other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of School. Qualifications Prior successful experience with middle‑school students. Strong commitment to differentiated instruction. Passion for educating children. Creativity and ability to think outside the box when challenging young minds. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred. Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. Position Type: Part‑time Hours: Monday–Thursday 1:00–5:00 p.m.; Friday 12:00–1:30/2:30 p.m. Salary: $24,000–$32,000 per year, commensurate with experience Benefits: Extensive professional development, growth, and advancement opportunities; small class sizes; close‑knit community; early release on Fridays; time off for national and Jewish holidays. About Torah Academy: Torah Academy is a preK–8 school that has served the Boston area for 40 years.
