Process Operator

Follow all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality. Check on equipment throughout the shift to ensure it is working properly. Read and clearly follow required processes. Contribute to division results and performance. Address internal and external customer needs and expectations. Operate equipment specific to the area, such as: CARBON: Bag products, sample and test; manage spent carbon feed to reactivation furnace; switch tank feed; calibrate PH probes; operate a filter press; run facility wastewater treatment plant. REGEN: Sort bottles by size and resin; load and unload deliveries; operate forklift; evacuate bottles. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Completion of site-specific safety training. Ability to communicate clearly with team members. Basic math skills. Site-specific requirements for CARBON: Completion of 40-hour hazardous waste operations training. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of computers. Physical Requirements: Constant ability to sit, stand, hear, and see. Frequent ability to walk, write, and type. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Ability to climb and descend stairs. Occasional ability to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. May work indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Exposure to dust and dirt; work surfaces may include concrete.
