ICU RN

Seeking an experienced ICU RN to join our team. Candidates must hold a BSN or higher degree from an accredited nursing school. A valid RN License to practice is required. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience. Certifications required include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing patients with external ventricular devices (EVD), multiple medication infusions, and trauma cases of varying severity. Candidates must conduct assessments using CAM, CPOT, and RASS. Experience in caring for patients undergoing hypothermia treatment is essential. Familiarity with pleurevac chest tube management and electronic medical record systems is necessary. All staff must adhere to strict isolation protocols and hand hygiene practices. Candidates are expected to follow standard operating procedures and critical care guidelines. Proficiency in the use of PCA pumps is required. This position may require floating to other critical care areas as needed.
