• Resource (Elementary): Guide and support a caseload of 15 students, providing tailored instruction for elementary-age learners.
• Self-Contained (K-2nd Grade): Offer comprehensive educational services to a smaller group of 8 young students in a self-contained classroom setting.
• Resource (Middle School): Empower 15 middle schoolers with individualized strategies to address diverse learning needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Previous experience supporting students with varying disabilities is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt instruction for different learning styles.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Capability to develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to address students’ unique educational needs.
• Track and document student progress, updating IEPs and goals as necessary.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings and parent conferences.
• Foster an inclusive, positive classroom climate.
• Implement behavioral interventions and support plans as needed.
