What You Will Do

• Assess patients across various age groups through standardized tests and careful observation.
• Create tailored treatment plans targeting immediate and future communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions addressing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties on a one-on-one basis.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families to develop and implement integrated care strategies.
• Engage in patient and family education to enhance progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, guaranteeing a seamless care experience.
• Ensure meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with all regulatory guidelines.
• Commit to continuous professional growth through education and collaboration with peers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified.

Certifications You Will Need

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
