Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized critical care to adult patients in a hospital ICU setting. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care across multiple campuses on a part-time basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients to identify changes in condition and respond accordingly.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols, ensuring medication safety and accuracy.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records, including medication scanning and clinical observations.
• Float between campuses (Bucyrus and Galion) to ensure coverage based on census and staffing needs.
• Comply with travel, on-call, and RTO policies, including timely communication and shift coverage arrangements.
• Maintain current certifications (BLS, ACLS) and valid state licensure; ensure compliance with all travel and facility requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Possess a valid state nursing license; pending licenses are not accepted.
• Demonstrate proficiency in medication scanning and fulfill Epic experience preferences.
• Be willing to travel, with prior travel experience required; no first-time travelers.
• Be able to work 12-hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) and respond within 1 hour when on call.
• Have strong references, including two recent supervisory contacts, and a clean employment record.
