Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality MRI scans utilizing advanced imaging equipment and techniques.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Assess patient medical history and ensure appropriate screening protocols are followed to prevent adverse events.
• Administer contrast agents when necessary, ensuring proper dosage and monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate and timely imaging results for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to established protocols and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and optimize workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, imaging protocols, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI.
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an MRI Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to MRI procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• CPR certification (Basic Life Support) preferred.
