Type of Position - Custodial/Maintenance

Full-Time/Part-Time - Part Time

Terms of Employment - Contracted Term

Minimum Qualifications - NC Driver License in good standing. Must be able to lift and move 75 lbs.

Essential Duties - Setting up and taking down cones and other materials for CDL driving classes. Assisting other personnel with truck maintenance (Ex: checking oil and coolant, replacing wiper blades, changing light bulbs, filling tires, washing trucks, etc.). Moving vehicles and equipment; backing trailers. Maintaining shop inventory, including picking up and loading shipments. Maintaining clean and organized shop.

Estimated Hours per Week - Max of 20 hours per week

Range - $15.00/hr

About Us - Beaufort County Community College serves a 2,100 square mile service region comprised of four counties (Beaufort, Hyde, Tyrrell, and Washington) in coastal North Carolina. BCCC maintains a 126-acre main campus in Washington, NC, and centers in Engelhard, NC, and Roper, NC. The college enrolls over 2,100 unduplicated headcount students per year in its credit programs and approximately 4,100 unduplicated headcount students in its continuing education programs.
