Sr Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of complex, high-value projects from initiation through to completion. The successful candidate will establish clear objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, governance arrangements and success measures, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with strategic priorities. This role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, managing dependencies and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Key responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, overseeing budgets and resource allocation, monitoring milestones and performance, and providing accurate progress updates to senior leadership. You will identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, implement effective mitigation plans, and ensure that appropriate change control processes are followed. The role will also require you to lead project meetings, maintain clear documentation, support procurement and supplier management, and ensure that deliverables meet agreed quality, regulatory and operational standards. You will promote consistent project management practices and contribute to continuous improvement across the wider project portfolio.


Applicants should have significant experience managing complex projects, ideally within a regulated, technical, operational or transformation environment. A strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to the required quality is essential, together with experience of working across multiple teams and managing senior stakeholders. You will need excellent communication, negotiation, organisation and problem-solving skills, as well as the confidence to make informed decisions and challenge constructively. Experience with recognised project management methodologies and tools is desirable, and a relevant professional qualification or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and maintain focus in a changing environment is essential.
