Job Title: Business Analyst – Capital Markets & Investment Management

Location: Newark

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in Capital Markets and Investment Management to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, support system implementations, and drive process improvements across trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business users, portfolio managers, traders, and operations teams to gather and document requirements.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Create business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
• Support implementation of investment management and capital markets technology solutions.
• Work closely with development, QA, and project teams throughout the SDLC.
• Facilitate UAT, stakeholder meetings, and requirement validation sessions.
• Assist in regulatory, compliance, performance, and portfolio reporting initiatives.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience within Capital Markets or Investment Management.
• Strong understanding of financial products including equities, fixed income, derivatives, mutual funds, and alternative investments.
• Experience with portfolio management, trade lifecycle, investment operations, and performance reporting.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
