Job Title: CNC Machinist

Pay: $24-29/hour depending on experience!

Shift: Monday through Friday 7am-3pm

Job Description

This role offers a daylight shift with a flexible start time and regular opportunities for overtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will set up and operate CNC and manual lathes to produce precision components from metals and alloys, following detailed blueprint specifications. Using precision measuring tools, you will verify that all parts meet required tolerances and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC and manual lathes according to blueprint specifications, including selecting appropriate fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
• Operate CNC and manual lathes to manufacture parts from metals and alloys in a fast-paced production environment.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, tooling, and machining sequences.
• Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators to inspect parts and verify adherence to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.
• Apply principles of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure parts meet design intent and tolerance requirements.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mars, PA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $29.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Mars,PA.
