Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 08:00 - 17:00, with at least 2 weekend days required per month.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in an inpatient rehab setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve optimal recovery and rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy interventions to improve patient function.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR (Meditech).
• Participate in team meetings and patient rounds.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have hospital experience.
• Preferred inpatient rehab experience.
• Must have BLS certification.
• Experience with CARE scoring is a plus.
