Residential Counselor- Buffalo

Job's House is hiring numerous Residential Counselors trained in CPI prevention, EUMR, FBA, and PSTP. This position requires BT levels II, III, and IV staffing for a high‑intensity level of care program that involves intensive interventions and multidisciplinary support. Candidates must be able to analyze problematic behaviors, de‑escalate, document, and communicate professionally in fast‑paced settings such as hospitals, residential care facilities, and schools. Skills and Experience: 2+ years experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and chronic medical conditions (preferred) Strong communication and documentation skills (requirement) Ability to interpret behavioral trends Experience with person‑centered thinking and planning (preferred) Judgment and decision‑making skills to handle crisis situations and day‑to‑day events Minimum Requirements 1+ year of experience with autism Capacity to work in a group setting of 2:1 staff to client ratio or better Professionalism with clients and support teams Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral/Social Science or an equivalent two‑year degree, and/or two years of behavioral health experience Four years of behavioral health experience and two years of Positive Support training Minimum age 18 years Previous experience with ASD and ABA therapy (recommended) Job Types: Overnights 11 pm–7 am and Weekend doubles Pay: Starting at $21.00 per hour Address: 7581 9th Street N., Suite 100, Oakdale, MN 55128 #J-18808-Ljbffr Jhp
