Job Title: Travel CT Technologist
Location: Monterey, CA
Weekly Pay: $3,200.00
Modality: CT / X-Ray

Position Type:

Full-Time Travel Assignment

Shifts Available:

• 5x8s with rotating weekends

• 4x10s

• 3x12s
  Schedule: Variable — must be flexible to adjust schedules as needed (e.g., may need to switch from nights to evenings temporarily).
  Call: No call required
  Overtime: 1.5x pay after 40 hours

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist to join a high-performing radiology team in beautiful Monterey, CA. The ideal candidate is proficient in both CT and X-ray modalities, comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment, and adaptable to changing schedules. Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Radiology, you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including routine radiography, OR with Fluoroscopy, portables, and CT scans.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray procedures, including portables, OR, and fluoroscopy

• Demonstrate competence in CT Level II, including 3D/Volume Rendering (preferred)

• Operate imaging equipment accurately and safely

• Maintain patient comfort and care throughout procedures

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

• Document procedures and complete all associated clerical tasks

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Wear required PPE; scrub color: neutral tones (black, blue, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT and X-ray experience in an acute care setting

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• Certifications & Licensure:

  • AHA BLS (American Heart Association)

  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist)

  • CRT (California Radiologic Technologist License)

  • Fluoroscopy Permit (California)

  • CT Certification

  • Venipuncture Certification
