HomeCare HomeBase experience is required.
Experience with wound care, wound vacs, new ostomies, post-surgical wounds is essential.


Description:
This position involves working in a home health setting providing direct patient care.
The role primarily includes wound care for various conditions, including wound vacs and ostomies.
No pediatric patients will be included in the caseload.
You will manage patients with cardiac conditions, such as congestive heart failure and pneumonia.
Administration of IV antibiotics and care for patients with PICC lines will be part of the responsibilities.
The position does not require any utilization review involvement.
Patients may use CPAP equipment, but no respiratory therapy equipment like vents will be handled.
Travelers will not be expected to perform bathing or personal care tasks.
Daily patient visits are determined by a point system: RNs can see up to 5 routine patients a day, while LPNs/LVNs can see up to 7.
Case management and scheduling responsibilities will not be assigned to this role.
The work schedule allows for an hour break for lunch.
Scrubs are not mandatory; professional, neat attire is acceptable.
A preceptor will be assigned for support during the orientation process.
This opportunity is situated in a region known for its outdoor recreational activities, including mountains and lakes.
No weekend or holiday work is required.
No on-call or standby duty is part of this role.
Floating to other units or facilities is not necessary.
