Dobson Rd Division: Solutions Job Title: Material Handler Time Type: Full Time Position Summary The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. They also count and inspect product, report damages or discrepancies to leadership, and operate equipment safely and efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Picking Responsibilities Use a pallet jack to pick orders accurately and efficiently. Stage, package, band, shrink‑wrap, and label products per client requirements. Process all picking tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures. Quality Control Responsibilities Verify that products and orders meet quality standards and log any damages or discrepancies. Shred, shrink‑wrap, and label products as required. Follow all quality control SOPs. Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance Execute all safety protocols and perform tasks in a manner that promotes safety. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist in warehouse security. Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards. Equipment Operation Operate a pallet jack and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain equipment condition and report problems promptly. Maintenance Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned. Other Duties Work overtime as required, whether mandatory or voluntary. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures (mild to moderate). Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Language : English (reading, writing, verbal). Mathematical : Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities and perform inventory tasks. Other : Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Adaptability to change in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications At least 6 months of warehouse / logistics / distribution experience. Current or prior Material Handling Equipment (MHE) certification. Physical Demands Occasionally : Handling/Fingering, Sitting. Frequently : Bending. Constantly : Walking and Standing. Ability to lift/ carry and push/pull 21‑50 pounds. Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel. Work Environment The work environment is typically low to moderate noise, with rare exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Employees are rarely exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
